Women Transitional Home Project

MCF community members and ICNA Relief are excited to announce the opening of the Women Transitional Home project after Ramadan.
Unfortunately, there is a rising Muslim women homelessness in the U.S. These women are victim of domestic violence, sudden tragedies and emotional trauma. There is hardly any options for these women to start a new life in the time of sudden crises. We as a community are under religious and moral obligation to help our sisters in need.

MCF community is taking the lead in the Sacramento region to start the first women transitional home in partnership with ICNA relief.

ICNA has established program in US with 17 transitional homes serving around 500 women per year.

There will be a fundraising event for the program right after Salat-ul-Jumma on May 31st in MCF.
