Full Message:

We are excited to announce the reopening of our MCF masjid for Jumuah and Daily Salah but with limited capacity and mandatory guidelines for the community. The Masjid will be opening from Maghrib salah on Saturday 6th June and onwards for Daily Fajr, Maghrib and Isha Salah.

To attend any Salah in the Masjid, wearing a face mask and bringing your own prayer rug form home is mandatory. Children under the age of 14 will not be allowed to attend, and we strongly advice all those who are vulnerable to stay and pray at home. Please go over the instructions in the Community Guideline Flyer and strictly follow these while coming to Masjid.

Please be mindful that there is a danger and risk of our Masjid being closed forcibly if there happens to be a breach of any protocol in place, and any related violation. We humbly request your full corporation to abide by the stipulated guidelines and to please follow all volunteers’ instructions.

As per California guidelines for all religious institutions, we are not allowed to host more than 100 people attending any event at the Masjid at a given time. Hence, to accommodate our community, there will be three separate Jummah Prayers in different slots in order to enable a smooth program. To ensure this further, and to avoid overcrowding, all community members are her by required to register for the respective slot they intend to join for salah. We will share the registration link for next week’s Jumuah of 6/12 during the upcoming week Insha’Allah.

Though Jummah Salah will be led by different assigned volunteers, all the khutbahs will be delivered by Imam Aamir.

For the benefit of the community members praying Zuhar at home, or for those who have Jummah arrangements made at home, the Khutbah will also be broadcasted on Zoom and YouTube.

Please note that Masjid is NOT open for Jummah Salah on June 5th, hence the first official Jummah Salah open for the community will be on June 12th, Insha’Allah.

There will be a special Zoom session hosted by the MCF Board for the community on Friday June 5th at 9PM, to go over all these details and protocols, and answer any related questions.

For any questions or concern, please contact the MCF board at: contact@mcfolsom.com.

May Allah سبحانه وتعالي protect our community at all times, and help us resume our daily Masjid services for everyone smoothly, Aameen.
